So, you want to lose weight? Read The Smoothie Diet review and find how to lose weight in 21 days.

Usually, we’re not interested in a weight loss product because many didn’t work as promised. But, after countless online searches, we finally found one. It’s called The Smoothie Diet.

Let’s dive in and learn a bit about smoothies.

What is a Smoothie?

You’ve heard about smoothies before, right? It’s a drink made by puréeing fruit and vegetables in a blender.

What? Puréeing?

Yes. Purée is a creamy substance made of liquidized or crushed fruit or vegetables.

We usually understand it by the term, mash. Now you get it, don’t you?

When it comes to smoothies, usually people add a liquid base first—such as fruit juice, milk, yogurt, ice cream, and even cheese!

Other ingredients like sugar or honey, vinegar, chocolate, or nutritional supplements are also often added to enrich the taste of smoothies.

Healthy smoothies include multiple servings of fruits and vegetables.

Believe it or not, smoothies have been recommended as healthy diet drinks and intended to be a meal replacement.

Green Smoothies

Another type of smoothie is a green smoothie, which typically consists of 40-50% green vegetables such as spinach, kale, celery, parsley, and even broccoli. Another half of it is filled with fruits.

As the name says, a green smoothie will most likely be green because of the vegetables. A fruit-based smoothie usually will have a brighter color like pink, yellow, and purple. If you add chocolate to your smoothies, the color will be darker towards brown.

The process of creating a smoothie is pretty straightforward. You put every ingredient in a blender, add some crushed ice, blend it for a few minutes, and you’re done.

As a skeptic, of course, we don’t believe it at first. But, it tickles our curiosity when we read more about it.

How Does The Smoothie Diet Work?

The Smoothie Diet Review -
21 Days Weight Loss Program

This is where it gets interesting.

The smoothie diet plan is pretty simple. For 21 days, Mr. Sgoutas recommend swapping two out of our three meals with delicious smoothies.

Wait, what? That’s it?

He said you can still have snacks and one usual meal per day. Moreover, you can also have a ‘flex day’ where you just eat three healthy meals.

Well, this is interesting for us because there is no exercise mentioned. That’s exactly what we’re looking for. Since we don’t aim for a six-pack, hard-as-rock abs, we prefer to find a weight loss program that is simple enough to do and without any commitment to do exercise. We hate exercise anyway.

The Smoothie Diet Plan

You may be thinking, “Are you kidding me?”

Well, that’s what we thought at first, too.

But then we read this part of the guide (spoilers alert).

The secret to weight loss success is creating a calorie deficit, which means your body burns more calories than you’re taking in.

—Drew Sgoutas

We thought, “Hey, it does make sense.”

Mr. Sgoutas said that the smoothie diet cuts out all the awful foods that make us gain weight. In addition, it also boosts our metabolism, cutting our cravings, and reducing caloric intake without leaving us feeling hungry.

How much does The Smoothie Diet cost?

The Smoothie Diet cost $47. But, you can get it for $37 if you act now. You’ll get a full refund within 60 days of your purchase.

Conclusion

In conclusion, YES.

We recommend it.

Since we rarely trust a weight loss product, we recommend the smoothie diet because it is a program. A day-to-day guide that people can follow and do for themselves. Lastly, there is no exercise mentioned. Swap two out of three meals with smoothie recipes recommended by the smoothie diet program, and you’re good to go.

This diet program is the most comfortable one that we can find.

The only downside we can think of in this program is that you need a blender. Yes, without a blender how you can make the smoothies? So, we got one from Amazon to try The Smoothie Diet plan.

Currently, Mr. Sgoutas is giving away $10 off your purchase if you act now.

  1. Hi, and thanks on your review of this Smoothie Diet. Since a large percentage of the country is overweight, it is always a challenge to find comfortable ways of eating to be sustainable and nourishing. Today we are having a blizzard here in Manitoba, and my mind is more on a soup. Would it be possible to blend these vegetables and eat (drink) them while they were hot. That led me to thinking about a Vitamix Blender that can blend foods cold, as well as hot for a soup. Just a thought. I guess I would have to explore Drew Sgoutas’ diet plan further. A green vegetable smoothie (soup)? Would that be a possibility?

    • Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for dropping by. I have no idea about making a green vegetable smoothie soup. 🤔

But, I think that is an interesting idea to try! Let me know if it works! 😙

  2. Great post!
I’ve heard about this diet before and it looks really good. I usually drink smoothies at home, but it is pretty much the same every day: celery, lemon, a little ginger, and any sweet fruit that I have at the moment, like peaches. I also love smoothies with banana, but when I do those I don’t usually use green vegetables. It would be great to have some more recipes for a change 🙂

    • Hi Johnny,

It’s great to hear that. You should try the program since it doesn’t aim to get a six-pack but more on losing weight without the need for doing exercise.
